what ways does my magazine remind you of other magazines?
“Your magazine includes small previews on the left hand
side, which I have seen on all magazines, your magazine also has a large
picture of the artists the main story is about which helps the audience know
who the article is about. The contents page is also has a similar layout to
other magazines, it includes subheadings and small summaries of what the
articles are about with page numbers, but also includes pictures so if the
reader sees their favourite band with a page number next to it, they are more
likely to see what it is about. The double page spread is an interview, which
some magazines have, ‘ASHES’ uses the interview to attract the audience as it is
exclusive content.”

do you think are the strengths of my magazine?
“The layout it very well presented and it is easy to find
what the reader wants, the colour scheme is the same throughout, it also fits
the indie genre that the magazine is based on.”
— What
do you think are the weaknesses?
“The front page is a bit dull, it could use more detail and there
is too much space, which could be filled.”
