Preliminary Task.

 



To create my front cover and contents page of my school magazine I used Photoshop, at first I had to decide a suitable colour scheme for my magazine, I decided that using gold and blue was a good idea as blue fitted well with the background image and gold is one of the school colours, the gold is a bold colour which stands out against the blue. I used the rounded rectangle tool to create the masthead, the text I then put over the rectangle has the bevel and emboss effect. My contents page follows the same colour scheme, for the picture in the bottom right I used the magic easer tool to delete the background of the image easily, I also used bevel and emboss on the contents title.
